 I gave my first love my heart

Only for it to be crushed
With no answers:.
Every single moment that passed
Went through my mind
Over, and over
Memories of love, passion, lust
Confusion, stubbornness, and heartache
Thinking "What went wrong?"

No answers:
Trying to get the fire back
I tried:.
Not knowing that he had
Forgot the past in so little time
But me:
Still clinging to what it was
What "we" used to mean:
Didn't let go so easily
Tears shed
Voices shouting
A kiss shared
Still:
No answers:
When I think back at what happened
I still wonder
"What went wrong?"
I still imagine that boy and that girl
Thinking, planning, wondering
I still can see those passionate kisses
Them each saying "I love you"
And truly mean it
And both thinking,
"I am completely in love with this person"
Still,
No explanations to change of heart
Still,
No closure to what a simple sentence
Changed both of their lives

All the nice things he said were in the past.

When you love someone so deep inside,
It seems like it's so easy to hide.
You've loved him for so very long,
You would think he could do no wrong.

I sit alone, no one to talk to
Feeling nothing, nothing but blue

As the tears, slowly run down my face
My heart becomes a lonelier place

The love that kept it safe and sound
Vanished, nowhere to be found

With each passing hour, I feel my heart break
I wish this were only a bad dream, from which I could awake

I am so very sad
I never imagined love could hurt this bad.

 I went to a party Mom,
 I remembered what you said.
 You told me not to drink, Mom,
 So I drank soda instead.

 I really felt proud inside, Mom,
 The way you said I would.
 I didn't drink and drive, Mom,
 Even though the others said I should.

 I know I did the right thing, Mom,
 I know you are always right.
 Now the party is finally ending, Mom,
 As everyone is driving out of sight.

By, Robert  Browning When  We Lose Someone We Love Blessed  be  God, even  the Father Of  our  Lord  Jesus  Christ , the Father  of  mercies , and  the God Of  all  comfort , Who comforteth Us  in  all  our  tribulation , that We  may be able  to comfort them Which  are in any  trouble , by the Comfort  wherewith we ourselves Are  comforted  of  God. 11 Cor. 1: 3 -4 When  we  lose  someone  we love, The  pain  nearly  breaks  our heart. And  grief  completely  clouds  our mind - How  can we stand to be apart ? Sweet   memories  brings tears  of grief, That such  will be no  more, And  inkind  words , though  long forgotten Can  haunt  us  forevermore. Things we  never  did together, Words  we never had  the chance to say, Now  will  never be said or done, Since  our  loved  one has gone away. Yes, when  we lose  a loved  one, Grief  cuts us  to the bone, We   wonder  how can we bear it, And  how can we go on alone ? But  there is hope , beyond our loss, There  is comfort  for  our sorrow; There  is strength  to  help us through  this day, And  a  promise for tomorrow. As   we  look  to  our  Heavenly Father, Who  knows  our  grief  and  pain, We   knows  He  will see  us  through somehow, Until  our  hearts  are  light  again.
